Backgrounds & The Perils of Spray Latexing

*Phew* so back finally after a crazy December (sickness, family visit, new job for partner, Christmas, then New Years) arg where did the time go, also have the legit excuse of getting married in April which has used up ‘some time’ (so many decisions!)

Anyhoo now back to hobby, I’ve managed to finish of the Jungle Ruins set (see following post) but thought I’d first talk about Backgrounds for photography.

If you can get hold of an appropriate canvas picture (or have a friend with an A0 printer:) the I think that backgrounds are what really ‘ice the cake’ on professional looking photo’s.

And onto my other hobby of making larp weapons I’d really like to reiterate what Leah Kurzepa said on her blog that when spraying latex it gets EVERYWHERE!!!

This paper box of my fiancés was not only behind me but at the other end of the room when I was spraying. I may have a bit of tidying to do :( and will evict myself to the garden shed ‘spray booth’ next time.
